“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.”

John 13:34 NRSV

Dear friends,

Please see the Bishop’s message below:

I am directing the local churches of any size and other ministries in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington to suspend in-person worship and other gatherings of more than 10 people until further notice.”

Thank you for your continued prayers for all those affected by this virus. Again, we do not live in fear. God’s perfect love casts out fear, and we trust in God’s perfect and eternal love above all else. EUMC will be following this directive and canceling Sunday services and all other events with expected attendance of 10 or more people until further notice. This includes all choir and bell rehearsals.

Please keep in touch and let us know if you or your loved ones have any special needs in the meantime or would like to request further individual pastoral counseling. As always, I will be available by phone or email, and we have a great leadership team that is committed to serving and caring for you all.

Peace be with you,
Rev. Dr. Mark W. Wagner

Our life as a community of faith is centered on growing in the love of God by loving our neighbors. All of our neighbors.  All colors.  All nationalities.  The poor.  The rich.  The LGBTQ+ community.  The recovery community.  Whoever you are you are welcome here.

Our mission is to cultivate a welcoming space where all people can gather to connect with God and with one another.

Looking for ways to join in community and serve? Click here to find numerous ministry opportunities within the church like our Clothing Center, Cold Weather Shelter, campus ministry and music programs.  It’s not an exhaustive list, but here are some of our core values to give you a better idea what we’re all about.

WORSHIP is at 10:00 a.m. (online until further notice) upstairs in our Sanctuary  – Our worship service is a mix of traditional and contemporary music with Biblically-based teaching, a time of communal prayer, and we also share in communion each week!  Following the service, meet us in our fellowship hall for a cup of (free) coffee, snacks, and good conversation.

Have kids?  That’s great!  We invite children to participate in our worship service and have a great space in the sanctuary set up just for them.
