Today we celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration, where Jesus is transfigured and turned dazzlingly bright as three of his disciples look on, amazed and terrified. Like the disciples, we also experience "mountaintop moments," and there are certainly holy places & sacred spaces in our lives where we encounter the presence of God. Scripture passages are 2 Kings 2:1-12 and Mark 9:2-9.
